Phoenix Rising

The Phoenix was chosen as a symbol to represent our commitment to support you, the families of individuals with ASD, in rising up to meet the daily challenges associated with autism. We use an Applied Behaviour Analysis approach in teaching, intervention and parent training that will empower our clients with ASD to acquire skills that will allow them to function to their full potential in the home, school, and community.

Phoenix Centre directors and staff are committed to providing clinically appropriate and evidence-based ABA services to current and new families of children, teens, and young adults with ASD of all ability levels. Our quality services are supervised by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) and staffed by professionals with college or university level training in ABA principles and practices.

To ensure optimal goal attainment, direct intervention services will be provided individually (1:1) or in dyads (1:2). The dyads (pairs) will be based on matching clients of similar age and need. Families will have the option of registering their child in half-day or full-day programs for 1 or more days per week, depending on the child’s needs and your family’s financial means. All of our Centre-based programs will include weekly or bi-weekly parent training because parents will continue to be the consistent mediators of learning and behaviour change throughout their child’s life. Consistent with best practices in ABA, we will maintain ongoing data collection and evaluation of progress, with a formal assessment of gains every six months.
